SkipDNS

When a customer site is migrated to a new server, there is a window where you cannot check the new server without pointing public DNS at it first, which is exactly the risk the check exists to avoid. SkipDNS closes that gap. A staff member registers a target IP, host and port and gets back a tokenised preview URL that reverse proxies to the candidate server, sending the real Host header so the origin serves the correct vhost even though public DNS still points elsewhere. Because the site is served under a path prefix rather than its own root, the proxy rewrites href, src, action and CSS url() references in the response, including fully qualified URLs pointing back at the target host, which is what makes WordPress sites render correctly instead of quietly pulling their stylesheets from the old server. It also detects the http to https redirect loop that path prefixing would otherwise cause and retries upstream over HTTPS. An internal, staff only tool, and the README documents the trust boundary that assumption rests on.
